Crops, Pasture, and Forest

Organic Pastures

Our animals roam in a series of paddocks that we rotational graze in Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Organic Crop Fields

We plant and harvest a variety for our livestock and soil health.

  • Alfalfa and grass blends for hay and silage.
  • Rye and wheat for cover crops and livestock.
  • Milo and sorghum sudan with soybeans, and corn.
  • Oats and peas for interseeding, bedding, and livestock.
  • Pollinator habitats – we have 3 dedicated areas.

Forests and Wooded Areas

Our woods are a wildlife haven made up of thickets, managed forests, and ravines classic to the Driftless area of Wisconsin. Our young dairy and beef herds also forage and graze in them.
