So much can change in one month, day, hour, minute, second. Yet, we go about life making plans for this and that. This is hope.
On Easter Sunday, April 9th, my brother lost his beloved wife to an accident while they were spending a beautiful afternoon together. One second, and hope, turned to shock and grief.
Witnessing the earth coming to Spring life in the midst of my sister in law’s death, is comforting. In my Faith, there is certain hope. Hope is what I pray is given to my brother, his children, and grandchildren.
Day to day living can give us so many reasons to grumble. I’m ashamed at the amount of time I’ve wasted doing this! We take for granted the times that pass with ease.
On the farm, so much is ahead of us. We plan, we prepare, we sow seeds, we look forward to the harvest, or a new season-because we hope.
The early crops are in, the ground is warming, and the seeds are sprouting.
Savoring this beautiful day, Rachel
